A. ABOUT THE ARTWORK This Ghau box pendant features an original Green Tara Buddha Eyes artwork created by the artist. Green Tara is traditionally associated with compassion, swift assistance, protection from obstacles, and active grace within Mahayana and Tibetan Buddhist traditions. Rather than presenting the complete traditional figure, the Buddha Eyes series focuses on the gaze, color, and selected symbolic elements of Buddhist imagery. For this contemporary artwork, a Tibetan-style metal Ghau box provides the physical housing for the Buddha Eyes artwork. The artwork is fitted and assembled by the artist inside the metal case.
