This artwork is my quiet reflection on that idea.

The two characters 天真 are written in traditional Chinese calligraphy with a simple, direct presence.

Rather than filling the space with decoration, the composition allows the characters to remain the focus.

The empty space around them is intentional.

It gives the eye somewhere to rest.

About the Artwork

This work is part of my exploration of how traditional Chinese calligraphy can become part of contemporary everyday life.

I am interested in creating artworks that carry cultural meaning without requiring the viewer to belong to a particular tradition or belief system.

The original calligraphy was created by hand.

The texture of the paper, ink, brush movement, and small irregularities remain part of the character of the artwork.

These details are not imperfections to be removed.

They are evidence of the human hand behind the image.
